PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISM: A Law Enforcement Perspective™

"The only course of it’s kind available to law enforcement."
The presentation incorporates subject areas vital to the success of law enforcement in their fight against terrorism.
The tragic events in New York on September 11, 2001, and the more recent events in London on July 11, 2005, have forever changed the way people view terrorists and terrorism.
While attempting to cope with the losses these terrorist attacks caused, everyone simultaneously struggled with the demands of coping and adjusting to the ‘new reality’ of danger on North American soil.
Terrorism has become a focus for law enforcement agencies.
Acts of terrorism are not new phenomena.
Federal, state, and local agencies must focus on assessing the threats of future terrorist acts and identify terrorists.
Law enforcement officers are on the front lines to identify cells and ferret out these terrorists before their plans of destruction can come to fruition.
Unfortunately, most people, to include law enforcement, know little about the terrorist organizational profile or mindset; their purpose or resolve.
Each of us must learn about terrorism and the terrorists that threaten our way of life; even our very existence
